Rabat – American actor Nicolas Cage is set to star in “Lords of War,” the sequel to the 2005 crime drama film “Lords of War,” and the production team has chosen Morocco as the setting to film the sequel.

The British film magazine Screen Daily reported that “the producers have earmarked an autumn start of principal photography in Hungary and Morocco,” which means that eager fans can expect the cameras to begin rolling soon in the picturesque settings of the two countries.

According to the Hollywood reporter, Nicolas Cage and Bill Skarsgard have been confirmed as the lead actors in the upcoming film, which will be produced by Vendome Pictures and directed by Andrew Niccol.

The story revolves around Orlov’s (Nicolas Cage) surprising revelation that he has a son named Anton (Bill Skarsgard). However, unlike his father, Anton chooses to confront and rectify the wrongs perpetrated by the arms trade rather than perpetuating them.
