Casablanca – Until June 23 this year, the Fairmont La Marina Rabat-Sale will host the “Ambre de Lumière” exhibition by young artist Houyame Rahmani, in partnership with the famous art gallery David Bloch.
“We are a hotel where art inspires lifestyles. Our aim is to contribute to the radiance of the luminous city by putting our stone to the building through the organization of various cultural events, on our own initiative or in partnership with other stakeholders to promote art and culture in all its forms,” said Jerome Lobier, General Manager of the hotel.
Born in Rabat in 1992 but originally from a Moroccan city named Ahfir, Rahmani began a special journey as an artist mixing her studies in building and brain science to create unique art that feels pure and dreamy, giving a new view of special shapes.
She received a prestigious creativity award from Cheikh Nasser Bin Hamad and came third in an art contest in Bahrain back in 2018. The Rabat-born artist has explored new ideas since the very beginning of her creative journey, making unique art that shouts of her deeply rooted longing for going beyond just sewing.
Inspired by her imagination, Rahmani came up with the idea of using thread to make art in 2010. By 2016, she had her first show called “Fil d’Ariane,” which translates to “the thread of Adriane.”

Her art has memories from her childhood, math equations, and parts of nature, letting people find new meanings in every part of her art.
She likes using the Mandala, a shape that means coming together and feeling balanced, to guide her art.
Rahmani merges tricky shapes with deep ideas, going beyond the usual to make people feel special things when they look at her art.
Rahmani’s “Ambre de Lumière” exhibition reflects her unique artistic journey, mingling her love for science with captivating art infused with geometry, personal nostalgia, and natural beauty.
The exhibition promises an engaging journey through the artist’s life and creative growth, telling a fascinating story shaped by her unique experience and deep connection to art.
Rahmani will not only celebrate her talent but also invite the show’s attendees to embrace the magical power of art. Do not miss out on the opportunity to be inspired and enchanted by Rahmani’s artistic vision – make sure you attend the exhibition.
