Rabat – Did you ever think which Moroccan food and AI robot would like to try if they could? Out of curiosity, we decided to ask ChatGPT this question as part of our series, #WeAskAi.
Starting off strong, ChatGPT’s first choice of a Moroccan dish is Tagine. It describes the aroma of the savory meat from chicken, lamb, or fish, plus the various vegetables with the sweetness of apricots or prunes – something that is as irresistible as it sounds.
Next up, ChatGPT moved to another iconic Moroccan traditional dish: Couscous. According to the Ai chatbot, the fluffy steamed semolina topped with meat, vegetables and chickpeas is the perfect comfort food.
Following Couscous, ChatGPT would obviously have to try Bastilla. Describing it as a “sweet and salty masterpiece,” the OpenAI chatbot alluded to the sweet and salty characterises of many traditional dishes.
Harira came in fourth place as one of the dishes that ChatGPT would like to try. The traditional soup with tomatoes, herbs, and chickpeas sounds like a “warm hug in a bowl” for the chatbot.
Lastly, ChatGPT wrapped up its must-try list with “Mechoui,” a dish typically served during Aid El-Adha. Cooked on coal, the Moroccan style barbeque dish is definitely festival-worthy for ChatGPT. The meal combines tenderness, smokiness, and aroma all in one bite.
ChatGPT closed off by saying that it would most likely rotate between different tagines and sweets. “Moroccan food is as much about culture and aroma as it’s about taste” said ChatGPT.
Do you agree that ChatGPT is now officially a Moroccan foodie?
