Fez – Moroccan model Yousra Abouhamda won the Miss Arab Continents 2026 crown at a ceremony held in Cairo, according to coverage from Moroccan outlets that followed the event. Video and reports from the night show a traditional coronation moment on stage and a Moroccan presence among the presenters and guests.

The show gathered finalists from several countries and handed out multiple titles. Alongside Abou Hamda’s overall win, organizers announced a first runner-up placement for Soukina Bouzidi, a contestant based in the United States, and a second runner-up spot for Amira Abbadi, competing under the “Asia” banner.

Additional honorary titles cited in local coverage included “Arab Beauty Ambassador” for Farida Shimi and a “Top Model of the World” distinction for Zineb Ben Marzouk.

Moroccan TV personality and former pageant winner Shorouk Chelouati featured prominently during the show, co-hosting parts of the program and appearing on stage in videos shared from the venue. Media notes also mention presenter Zakaria Faham among the emcees. Their presence underlined the strong Moroccan profile of this year’s edition.

“Miss Arab” competitions operate as a cluster of related pageants staged in the Middle East and North Africa, often awarding several crowns in one gala and touring to major cities such as Cairo.

This year’s “Continents” edition followed that format, with multiple sashes recognizing different regions and special categories. While the franchises vary by organizer, they typically combine eveningwear and cultural showcases, with on-stage interviews focused on charitable aims and community representation. The Cairo ceremony fit that model, with a grand-finale runway, national flags, and staged photo calls.

For Morocco, Abouhamda’s victory adds to a recent run of high-visibility moments for Moroccan women in fashion and culture across the region, and it gives fans a new face to follow on the pageant circuit as she begins post-coronation appearances. As with many “Miss Arab” titles, her year is expected to include charity visits, brand events, and regional media interviews coordinated by the organizers.
