Fez — Spotify has released its 2025 “Wrapped” rankings for the Maghreb, and the numbers confirm what listeners already knew: Moroccan rap is still driving regional streams.

ElGrandeToto stays at the top of the most-streamed artists for the sixth year in a row, while Stormy, Shaw, Draganov, Inkonnu and a new wave of names fill the rest of the chart with albums and tracks that rarely leave daily playlists.

ElGrandeToto leads an all-Moroccan top tier

In the artists ranking, ElGrandeToto once again takes first place. According to Spotify, he has now held that spot every year since 2020. His consistency says a lot about his grip on a generation of listeners, where each new release quickly climbs into the highest levels of streams across the Maghreb.

Right behind him, Stormy secures second place, firmly settled in the daily listening habits of his audience. Shaw completes a top three that is entirely Moroccan, marking his steady rise from emerging name to fixed presence in the upper ranks.

Draganov and Inkonnu close out the first half of the Top 10. The rest of the list blends local and neighbouring influences: LFERDA, Morad, L’morphine, then GIMS and Jul. The picture is clear. Moroccan artists dominate, but the scene stays open to cross-border sounds and collaborations.

Tracks that soundtracked 2025

The songs chart follows the same pattern. “Bouhali” by ElGrandeToto takes the number one spot for 2025, a track that circulated widely across the Maghreb before people even realized how often they were hearing it.

Stormy follows with two major entries, “Moon,” and “Pirate,” both of which pushed his streaming numbers up sharply this year. ElGrandeToto keeps a strong presence with “Staline” and “Diplomatico,” extending his run further down the Top 10.

Shaw confirms his momentum with “Wallahi” and his feature on “Taf Taf” alongside OldyGotTheSound and Anys. “Blue Love” holds onto its impact. “Mizane,” a joint effort from Stormy and Inkonnu, and “3Dabi” by Draganov complete a Top 10 almost entirely occupied by Moroccan hip-hop.

Albums that shaped the year

The most-streamed albums tell the same story, while leaving room for different styles and sounds.

“Salgoat” by ElGrandeToto leads the year with a sense of ease that now feels almost normal. Just behind it, “Blédard Deluxe” by Shaw confirms that his musical identity has found a solid audience. “Iceberg” by Stormy takes third place, showing how his projects hold attention beyond individual singles.

Further down the list, “27,” –  another project by ElGrandeToto – , keeps him present in several positions at once. “Arabi” by Inkonnu remains a reference point, with spoken-style writing and stripped-back production that stand out in the rankings.

The rest of the Top 10 moves between Morocco and its neighbours: “Caméléon” by ElGrandeToto, “Bababa World” by Dystinct, “112” by Pause, “2×1” by LFERDA, and “101” by 7ari and Ramoon.

A scene that keeps growing

Taken together, Spotify’s 2025 data and the enthusiasm of Maghreb listeners show that the bond between the public and Moroccan rap is still getting stronger. The genre leads across artists, tracks, and albums, while leaving space for other styles and cross-border voices to build their own followings.

At the centre, ElGrandeToto remains first in every category, holding a crown he has worn since 2020. Around him, Stormy, Shaw, Draganov, Inkonnu, LFERDA and others expand the map of Moroccan rap, making it one of the most visible and influential sounds in the region’s digital listening habits.
