Fez — Casablanca welcomed a new international luxury chain address on December 30, with the official opening of the DoubleTree by Hilton Casablanca City Center, following an extensive rebranding project.
The launch marks the arrival of the DoubleTree brand in the very heart of Morocco’s economic capital, reinforcing the city’s growing appeal as a regional business and tourism hub.
The hotel features 388 rooms and suites and aims to position itself as a reference for both business travelers and leisure guests. Its opening comes at a time when Casablanca’s hospitality sector is undergoing rapid transformation, driven by rising international demand and a renewed focus on premium services and central locations.
A strategic rebranding under experienced leadership
The new chapter of the hotel is being led by Dominique Dmytryszyn, Cluster General Manager and one of the world’s top 100 hospitality leaders according to the Luxury Lifestyle Awards 2023. Having overseen the property since its initial construction in 2015, Dmytryszyn now guides its repositioning under the DoubleTree by Hilton brand.
With more than four decades of experience at Hilton Worldwide, including leadership roles in London, Australia, Turkiye, Mauritius, France, and Morocco, he brings a global vision to the project. Speaking about the opening, Dmytryszyn said the rebranding reflects a commitment to delivering Hilton’s internationally recognized service standards while offering a refined and contemporary experience tailored to Casablanca.
Prime location and contemporary comfort
Ideally located, the DoubleTree by Hilton Casablanca City Center offers quick access to key economic and cultural landmarks. The old medina and the Hassan II Mosque are less than four kilometers away, the Casa-Voyageurs high-speed train station is reachable within five minutes, and the Morocco Mall is approximately 20 minutes away. The hotel also provides both outdoor and underground parking, ensuring ease of access for guests.
The 388 rooms and suites range from 40 to over 200 square meters, combining modern comfort with functional design. The Royal Suite, located on the 17th floor, offers panoramic views of the city, reinforcing the hotel’s premium positioning.
A destination for business and events
Designed to cater to corporate needs, the hotel includes a dedicated conference and events area with 13 fully equipped, modular meeting rooms. A large reception hall with a capacity of up to 300 guests is suited for conferences, corporate events, and private receptions, strengthening the hotel’s role in Casablanca’s business ecosystem.
Wellness and dining experiences
Wellness is a central component of the hotel’s offering. The 2,500-square-meter Lumena Spa features two traditional hammams, two saunas, two jacuzzis with cold-water pools, nine treatment rooms including a duo cabin, beauty and facial care areas, a yoga studio, and a fully equipped fitness center.
The dining concept combines local and international flavors in a relaxed and convivial setting. Additional developments are planned in the coming months to further enhance the guest experience and consolidate the hotel’s status as a leading luxury destination.
Owned by Ynna Holding and managed by Hilton Hotels & Resorts, the DoubleTree by Hilton Casablanca City Center is part of the Hilton Honors loyalty program, offering members exclusive benefits such as discounts, complimentary standard Wi-Fi, and flexible payment options.
With this opening, Casablanca strengthens its position on the Moroccan and regional hospitality map, welcoming a new international address that blends centrality, high-end services, and global expertise.
