Rabat – Moroccan comedy show “L’Clika” is set to take the stage this Ramadan with performances in Rabat and Casablanca on March 4 and 7.
The production brings together a group of well-known young comedians for a live theatrical experience designed for audiences seeking laughter during the holy month.
The play arrives as part of a wider Ramadan cultural movement that sees Moroccan cultural spaces filling up with comedy shows and live performances. During this period, audiences often look for light entertainment after ftour, and theatre spaces respond with programs that balance humor and reflection.

“L’Clika” positions itself within social comedy. While it promises plenty of laughs, the show also touches on human themes that resonate with everyday Moroccan life.
The story reportedly unfolds inside a prison setting, where a group of young inmates navigate tense and absurd situations. Their interactions, particularly with a strict prison director, are said to generate much of the comedic tension.
The cast includes Ayoub Abounnasr, Simo Sedraty, Zouhair Zair, and Hajar Masdouki among others. Many of these performers have built strong reputations in Moroccan comedy, both on stage and through digital platforms.
Bringing these names together creates a dynamic ensemble that thrives on timing and chemistry. The diversity of comedic styles adds rhythm and variation to the performance.
The show will be held first in Rabat tomorrow at Theatre Bahnini, followed by Casablanca on Saturday at Mohammed VI theatre.
By staging the show in both Rabat and Casablanca, the production taps into two of the country’s most active cultural hubs.
Ultimately, “L’Clika” fits into a broader theatrical landscape that continues to evolve. As Moroccan audiences return to performance halls in large numbers during Ramadan, comedy remains one of the most powerful ways to bring people together.
