Casablanca – The Moroccan Association of Andalusian Music (AMMA) will host a special Andalusian music evening on March 14 at the Mohamed Zefzaf Theater in Casablanca as part of the Ramadan cultural calendar.
The concert is held under the supervision of the Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication with the support of the national lottery and Oulmes Mineral Water.
Under the theme “An Andalusian Night of Light and Spirituality,” the concert will be guided by maestro Mohamed Laaroussi. The program promises a rich selection of Andalusian repertoire rooted in Moroccan heritage.
The Mohamed Larbi Lemrabet orchestra will bring to life carefully prepared selections, highlighting some of the most cherished pieces of Moroccan Andalusian music. Each performance is intended to capture the spiritual depth that has long defined this genre.
The evening will bring together traditional music lovers who value both the historical significance and emotional resonance of Andalusian music. It promises an experience that goes beyond performance, inviting the audience to connect with the music, the performers, and the shared heritage it represents.
Through its carefully chosen pieces, the evening aligns naturally with the reflective and uplifting mood of Ramadan. With this immersive experience, tradition and spirituality come together to leave a lasting impression long after the final notes fade.
Since its founding, the Moroccan Association of Andalusian Music has consistently worked to preserve and celebrate this rich musical heritage. It strives to safeguard this tradition and highlight its role as a refined legacy and fundamental part of Morocco’s cultural identity.
