Casablanca – The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Morocco is organizing “Korea Culture Week 2026” on April 29-30 at Rabat’s Mohammed V Theater.

Visitors will get a closer look at different aspects of Korean culture during the event, ranging from traditional games and a Hanbok fashion show to K-pop and dance performances.

The program is set to begin at 5 p.m. each day with Korean traditional games. On the first day, the evening will continue with a classical opera concert featuring Gagok, a form of Korean lyrical song, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

On the second day, the opera performance will be replaced by a Hanbok fashion show, scheduled from 7 p.m. to 7:40 p.m., followed by a K-pop song and dance performance from 7:50 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The cultural event offers Moroccan audiences a closer look at Korea’s artistic and traditional heritage, providing an immersive experience that highlights both contemporary and historical elements of Korean culture.

For many visitors, the initiative represents an opportunity to engage directly with Korean traditions without leaving Morocco, while also deepening awareness of the country’s diverse cultural expressions.

Beyond entertainment, such initiatives also contribute to strengthening cultural ties between the Kingdom and the Republic of Korea.

With “Korea Culture Week 2026”, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Morocco continues to promote cultural exchange and foster closer human connections through shared artistic experiences.
