Fez — Adidas unveiled a new “FIFA World Cup 2026” pet jersey collection, bringing tournament-inspired looks to four-legged football fans for the first time across selected national federations.
The collection features pet jerseys inspired by home kits of Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, and Japan.
Adidas said the line is designed to let fans include their pets in the matchday experience, extending football culture beyond stadiums, fan zones, and living room gatherings.
A matchday look for pets
The jerseys echo the design codes of the selected federations’ FIFA World Cup 2026 home kits, combining heritage elements with a contemporary edge.
Designed specifically for pets, the jerseys include a heat-transferred federation crest and adidas logo. The company said the finish aims to give the pieces a clean look while keeping them comfortable for pets of different sizes.
The collection will be available starting May 1 across North America, Latin America, Japan, China, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Indonesia, sold through selected Adidas stores, selected retailers, and online.
Football fashion moves beyond fans
The launch reflects how major sportswear brands continue to expand football culture into lifestyle products.
In recent years, national team kits have become more than match uniforms, often turning into fashion items worn far beyond game day.
With the 2026 World Cup approaching, brands are increasingly building merchandise around the emotional side of football fandom.
The pet jersey collection taps into that same mood by giving fans another way to display their team loyalty.
It also follows a wider trend in which pets are becoming part of family-centered consumer culture, from travel accessories to personalized clothing.
