Washington – Italian entrepreneur Tonino Lamborghini is expanding his global luxury footprint through a new partnership with Zimbali Lakes in South Africa.

A 200-room hotel and 73 branded residences are the designer’s first project in Africa. The residences are expected to sell for USD 6,026 (MAD 56,760) per square metre.

The KZN North Coast, where Lamborghini is setting up, is coming out as a popular region for wealthy South Africans looking for an alternative to Cape Town’s way of life.

Businesses see the long-term growth potential for this region; Lamborghini saw the untapped markets and invested with his brand’s residences and hotels. He has also done this throughout Europe, Asia, South America, and the Middle East.

Lamborghini brings the Italian design philosophy, with a dedication to quality, and an appreciation for design greatness, to South Africa’s beautiful Dolphin Coast, AKA the KZN North Coast, while keeping the vision of Zimbali Lakes.

This is a significant component for the international expansion of Tonino’s brand. This also helps the growing confidence in South Africa as a place for luxury and hospitality.

Aside from the actual project, this creation is expected to contribute to the economy in the region. From employment creation to tourism growth, it’s going to be a positive investment.

The debut of Tonino Lamborghini in Africa is a milestone for both the brand and the region.
