Rabat – Taylor Swift made fashion history at what has been dubbed the “wedding of the year,” wearing a custom haute couture wedding gown by Dior for her July 3 wedding to Travis Kelce at New York’s Madison Square Garden.
The couple exchanged vows in front of around 1,000 guests, with every detail of their wedding attire created exclusively for the occasion.
Designed by Dior Creative Director Jonathan Anderson, Swift’s gown marked the first haute couture bridal design he has created for a high-profile celebrity bride since taking the role.
The fashion house said the dress was developed in close collaboration with the couple at its historic 30 Avenue Montaigne ateliers in Paris, where its couture pieces are handcrafted.
Although official images of the gown have not yet been released, Swift completed the look with custom Christian Louboutin heels, Cartier jewelry, and a sapphire bracelet gifted by Kelce as her “something blue.”
She also wore her custom Old Mine Cut diamond engagement ring, designed by Kelce alongside jeweler Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry.
Kelce also chose a bespoke Dior couture suit paired with custom Christian Louboutin shoes, creating coordinated bridal looks that reflected the couple’s attention to craftsmanship and luxury fashion.
