This summer, Marrakech is planning to get loud in the best way possible
Fez – From July 17 to August 30, Marrakech will host the first edition of the “Summer Series,” a new program of live concerts organized by “Wanaut Originals” in partnership with “Blast Marrakech.”
The event aims to bring fresh energy to summer nights through Moroccan music and culture.
Every Friday and Saturday, the stage at Blast will come to life with a curated lineup of both established and emerging artists.
Over the course of 14 evenings, the Summer Series will offer a wide mix of genres and generations in a setting that feels intimate, vibrant, and accessible.
The opening night, on “July 17,” will set the tone with the return of one of Morocco’s most iconic groups: Nass El Ghiwane.
Known for their powerful lyrics and deep connection to Morocco’s cultural memory, the group’s performance is expected to be a strong and emotional start to the season.
On July 19, the focus shifted to Casablanca’s Hoba Hoba Spirit, a band that has built a loyal following with its mix of rock, darija poetry, and sharp social commentary.
Their energy on stage is known to be raw, direct, and highly engaging.
Other key artists will take the stage throughout the summer. Dada is scheduled for July 25, followed by Fehd Benchemsi & The Lallas on August 1 and Maureen & Rita Kamale on August 2.
On August 8, Hamid El Kasri will bring the sounds of gnawa to the series, while Shobee & Fetah perform the following day.
Ahmed Soultan is set for August 16, and Manal, one of the standout voices in Moroccan pop, will take over on August 23. The final concert will feature rapper Dizzy Dros on August 30.
The series is built around a simple concept: live music, strong performances, and a space that feels open to everyone.
Since its launch, Blast Marrakech has established itself as a key cultural venue in the city. For the Summer Series, the concerts will be held in an air-conditioned indoor space, providing comfort during the hot months.
But there’s more to the experience than just the stage. Outside, the venue will offer a relaxed open-air zone with food vendors, a local creator market, and a chill-out area where people can take a break or stay longer after the shows.
The idea is to create an atmosphere that’s social and easy, where music can become part of a bigger evening.
With this new event, Marrakech is betting on culture and creativity to define its summer rhythm.
The Summer Series isn’t just a lineup of concerts. It’s a platform for Moroccan artists, a space for connection, and a new way to enjoy the city during the hottest weeks of the year.
