Marrakesh – The Timeleft social experiment has landed in Morocco, bringing its unique concept of dinners with strangers to Africa for the first time.

“Say hello to our new cities, Marrakesh and Casablanca,” the brand’s account X stated, highlighting that residents of these cities can now dive into the unique Timeleft experience.

Starting July 3, dinners will be organized, bringing five strangers together. It’s the perfect chance to meet new people, create friendly, professional, or romantic opportunities, or simply have a good time.

“Timeleft replaces screens with face-to-face meetings and spontaneous interactions. The concept, which has already captivated approximately 400,000 people in over a hundred cities since May 2023, is designed to foster unexpected and authentic connections,” the company announces.

With a network of over 400,000 members and growing, the company aims to connect a million people each month around restaurant tables.

“Without prejudice or pretense, participants are invited to reveal themselves through a series of questions designed to open their hearts and minds,” emphasized Timeleft in a press release.

Timeleft is now present in twenty-five countries and over 120 cities. More than 8,500 strangers dine together every Wednesday. Since May 2023, over 98,000 people have participated in a Timeleft dinner.

Launched in 2023 in Lisbon, Timeleft combats urban loneliness by organizing dinners among strangers and fostering social connections within major cities.

On June 18, the brand announced its launch in Singapore, revealing that the inaugural dinner would take place on Wednesday, July 3, and inviting people to register.

Timeleft aims to expand into several European capitals by the end of 2024.
