Fez — Moroccan singer Khawla Mujahid, also known as Jaylann, is set to launch her first international tour this October, beginning with performances in Paris and Brussels.

The rising artist will kick off the tour in Paris on October 4, followed by a show in the Belgian capital on October 7. Organized by Mars Agence, the tour marks a new chapter in Jaylann’s evolving music career and highlights her growing popularity across Moroccan and diasporic communities in Europe.

Jaylann’s recent success stems largely from her patriotic single Ha Walidi, which resonated widely with Moroccan audiences.

The music video, released a month ago, combines traditional Moroccan elements with modern musical influences, blending styles such as chaabi, Gnawa, and Afro rhythms.

Symbolic visuals in the video include motifs like the Moroccan caftan, zellige tiles, and the art of tbourida, creating a visual tribute to Moroccan heritage.

The singer’s husband and manager, known by the stage name “Beethoven,” is overseeing the European tour. He has played a central role in reshaping Jaylann’s artistic direction and re-establishing her presence in the Moroccan music scene after a period of relative absence.

Jaylann has expressed ambitions to expand her artistic reach internationally, aiming to position Moroccan music on the global stage.

While specific details on upcoming releases or collaborations remain undisclosed, her current trajectory suggests a strategic focus on global exposure, high-quality visuals, and continued celebration of Moroccan identity in her work.

As Jaylann brings her unique voice and patriotic message to stages in Europe, her tour is poised to deepen the cultural connection between Morocco and its diaspora while showcasing the richness of the country’s musical traditions.
