Fez — Billed “Aux Rythmes d’un Maroc Uni,” the evening brings leading voices of Andalusian, melhoun, and heritage repertoire to a wider public.
Organizers say the showcase will feature vocalist Sanaa Marahati, the Orchestre Mohamed Al Arbi Tamsamani led by Mohamed Amine Akrami, and the Femmes de Tétouan, among other guests, for a program celebrating Morocco’s musical diversity and collective memory. Doors open at 8:00 p.m., with the concert set for 8:30 p.m. at the Ain Diab venue.
According to event listings, tiered tickets are available, with balcony, gold, and carré premium seating priced at MAD 250, MAD 350, and MAD 500, respectively. The format blends concert performance with a unifying, family-friendly atmosphere aligned with the Fête de l’Unité’s themes.
The Moroccan Association of Music (MAM) notes the concert is organized under the aegis of the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication, with support from Loterie Nationale and Les Eaux Minérales d’Oulmès. Coverage of the program highlights its emphasis on heritage continuity and artistic excellence across generations.
MAM President-Founder Fatima Mabchour frames the night as part of a broader cultural commitment linked to Morocco’s unity celebrations, describing it as a moment where “the voices of Morocco come together to make the soul of a people heard through its music.”
Established initially around the Andalusian canon, the association adopted the MAM identity in 2025, expanding its scope to embrace Morocco’s wider patrimonial repertoire while maintaining an outward-looking approach to collaboration and exchange. The rebrand followed a series of high-profile concerts that underscored MAM’s intent to bridge traditions and audiences.
Saturday’s Unity concert in Casablanca adds to a string of fall cultural events spotlighting Moroccan heritage on major stages. With a marquee lineup and clear community focus, the program aims to translate national commemoration into an accessible evening of music — positioning memory, pride, and shared identity at the center of the experience.
