Since 2011, Ramez Galal has returned every Ramadan with a new concept built around the same idea: pranking celebrities. These are not ordinary pranks. They are the kind that make the guest question whether they will survive or not, creating literal thrills for the viewer.
The newly released poster for Ramadan 2026 shows Galal with orange hair, a monkey on his shoulder, and a Ramadan lantern in his hand. Chains and massive cubes fill the background. The peculiar vision only raises the audience’s curiosity about this year’s concept.
Over 15 years, Ramez Galal’s Ramadan prank shows have achieved massive viewership and strong anticipation. Previous editions include Ramez Alb El Assad, Ramez Ta‘lab Al Sahra’ and Ramez Majnoun Rasmi, among many others.
The idea remains the same, but the details change every year. The show usually starts by welcoming a celebrity – whether a singer, actor, or athlete – who is led to believe they are appearing on a normal TV program. At a certain point, the prank begins. With it comes fear, shock, and suspense.
