Fez — Radisson Hotel Group has appointed Hamid Sidine as Managing Director for Morocco, effective immediately, according to a press announcement issued today.
The group described the position as strategic, aimed at accelerating portfolio growth in Morocco, which it considers one of its priority markets in Africa.
Sidine brings more than 35 years of international hospitality experience to the role. His background includes overseeing complex hotel portfolios, leading openings and repositionings, and managing multicultural teams across several regions.
His career spans Morocco, Tunisia, France, the Middle East, and parts of West and East Africa. The company said this experience gives him a strong understanding of operational and cultural dynamics across diverse markets.
Sidine holds an MBA in Management Consulting from Toulouse Business School and has completed advanced leadership programs, including executive training at Harvard Business School.
“It is an honor to join Radisson Hotel Group at a time when Morocco is establishing itself as a key hub for modern hospitality,” Sidine said in the statement. He added that he is committed to supporting owners, teams, and partners while promoting operational excellence and sustainable innovation.
Expansion plans in Morocco
The appointment comes as Radisson continues to expand its footprint in Morocco. The group already operates or is developing properties in Marrakech, Casablanca, Saïdia, Taghazout Bay, and Al Hoceima.
According to the press release, Radisson aims to reach around 30 hotels in Morocco by 2030, positioning the Kingdom as a flagship market in North Africa.
Sidine is currently based in Marrakech and is expected to relocate to Casablanca following the pre-opening phases of upcoming projects in the economic capital.
