Lugano – The Ministry of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development, and Water and Forests has announced the launch of the 10th edition of the National Grand Prize for Agricultural and Rural Journalism.
This recognition honors outstanding media coverage of Morocco’s agricultural sector, showcasing the innovations, challenges, and human stories that shape the country’s rural landscapes.
Candidate applications must be submitted by March 25 at 12 p.m. via this website.
The Ministry’s award encourages journalists and media professionals to go beyond routine reporting, producing compelling, insightful work that highlights critical issues such as sustainable farming, rural livelihoods, climate change, resource management, and food security.
The Grand Prize honors media productions across multiple formats, including print, broadcast, digital, and radio.
Entries can be submitted in Arabic, French, Amazigh, and other languages, reflecting Morocco’s linguistic and cultural diversity.
Last year’s edition of the National Grand Prize for Agricultural and Rural Journalism recorded strong and diverse participation, with 71 journalistic works submitted across multiple languages and media formats.
Any journalist working in print, online, television, or radio who meets the eligibility requirements outlined in the prize regulations may apply for award by submitting an article or report that was published or broadcast between March 25, 2025, and March 25, 2026.
