Fez — The Consulate General of the Kingdom of Morocco in Paris recently hosted an exhibition honoring Moroccan soldiers who fought during World War I and World War II.
Organized in partnership with the association “Mémoire France-Maroc,” the exhibition aims to recognize the sacrifices made by Moroccan combatants and their contribution to military operations during the two global conflicts.
The event highlighted the role of Moroccan soldiers who served on several fronts during both wars. Thousands of Moroccan troops were mobilized and participated in key moments of European history during the 20th century.
Archival materials and testimonies on display
Visitors to the exhibition were able to view archival photographs, historical documents, and testimonies recounting the military and personal experiences of Moroccan soldiers during the conflicts.
The materials presented details about the conditions in which these soldiers were mobilized and the historical context surrounding their participation in the wars.
