It’s a day to celebrate women – these goddesses who make the world a sweeter place. To celebrate our achievements, our impact, but most importantly, our presence.
It’s a day when women celebrate with each other. Maybe men give women chocolate and flowers, and share sweet words of love and appreciation. Do we love flowers and chocolate? Absolutely. But is that all? Of course not.
It’s just one day of the year, a reminder to appreciate women in our lives (and the women we are.) But the recognition, respect, and value women deserve should stretch far beyond just one day, it should be felt every day of the year.
Now, for anyone wondering what every woman wants, here’s your guide.
Sweet creatures we are, we’re not asking for luxuries or miracles. We simply want life to feel fair, normal, and uncomplicated. To make choices freely, without endless judgment.
Women want to choose what works best for them without hearing the absurd questions “Why?” or the classic: “But you’re a woman?”
