Rabat – Madaëf Sports & Events (MSE) has announced that the Madaëf Golfs Ladies Open will take place from April 12-14 at Royal Golf de Fez.
Part of the Ladies European Tour Access Series (LETAS), the tournament marks the return of LETAS to Morocco following a successful inaugural edition in 2025 at Saïdia Mediterrania.
This year, over 100 professional golfers from around 30 countries across five continents are expected to compete in Morocco’s spiritual capital.
Among the international stars joining the event are Cécilie Leth-Nissen (Denmark), Ragga Kristinsdottir (Iceland), Marine Griffaut (France), and Tiffany Arafi (Switzerland).
They will be joined by leading Moroccan players, including Noha Ghadi, Sawssane Melhli, Lina Belmati, and Malak Bouraeda.
The tournament will be played over three days in stroke play format, with a €50,000 (MAD 539,190) prize fund up for grabs.
Ahead of the main competition, a Pro-Am event will take place on April 11.
Teams will consist of one professional golfer and three amateurs, competing in a Shamble format that blends fun and competition.
Participants will gain valuable insights from the pros while navigating the course’s signature challenges.
Beyond the fairways, players and guests will have the opportunity to explore Fez’s rich cultural and historical heritage.
The event will also benefit from extensive media coverage, promoting Moroccan golf on the international stage.
Returning to Morocco, the Madaëf Golfs Ladies Open is set to become a high-level sporting fixture, reinforcing the Kingdom’s reputation as a leading golf destination.
