Rabat – Fairmont La Marina Rabat-Sale resort has announced hosting the second leg of the inaugural Fairmont Golf Cup on September 23 and 24, promising an exceptional experience for golf enthusiasts.
Following its successful debut in the Moroccan red city of Marrakech, Fairmont decided to welcome the golf event in the capital city.
The Fairmont Golf Cup reflects the resort’s passion for the sport, as well as represents an opportunity to promote Morocco as a golfing destination, said the organizers in a press release.
The event promises a “world-class golfing getaway” in Fairmont La Marina Rabat-Sale, which the organizers described as “a must-visit destination in the City of Lights [Rabat].”
The event will take place on the iconic 18-hole course at the Royal Golf Dar Essalam.
Besides golf, participants will have the opportunity to indulge in a wider range of “signature experiences” offered by Fairmont La Marina Rabat-Sale.
The statement added that “golfers will have the opportunity to experience the highlights of this competition in a beautiful green setting and savor unforgettable moments of relaxation and getaway in this urban resort offering breathtaking views of the estuary, where river currents meet the Atlantic.”

Whether participants choose to stay at the Fairmont La Marina Rabat-Sale or not, the statement noted that they will have access to exclusive offers that include participation in the tournament, attendance at various evening events during the competition, and access to the awards ceremony.
General Manager of Fairmont La Marina Rabat-Sale Jerome Lobier expressed his excitement about hosting the fast-approaching event in the heart of Morocco’s capital.
