Casablanca – Moroccan singer Aminux has started hinting at the upcoming release of the white edition of his album “Aura,” following the black edition released last November.

After the black edition, which focused on negative aspects of love with five songs, the new edition is expected to shift the project’s tone from darker themes of love to more uplifting emotions.

As part of the rollout, Aminux also revealed the first single, titled “CASQUE O MOTOR,” which is set to be released soon.

Black edition vs white edition

The concept behind “Aura” comes more than a decade after the artist’s debut album, offering a dual perspective on love. Speaking to Billboard Arabia, Aminux explained his intention to present contrasting emotional experiences.

“I wanted to portray two sides of love: the dark, sad side and the bright, joyful one. The name is inspired by Greek culture,” Aminux said.

In its first part, the “Black Edition” highlighted themes of heartbreak and emotional struggle, featuring five tracks: “Ma Love,” “Ziyech,” “Toxic,” “Ghar9in,” and “Alalay.”

Building on this contrast, the upcoming “White Edition” is set to include collaborations with international artists, including Egyptian singer Fares Sokar, French artist Maître Gims, and Nigerian artist Lia, with appearances expected in the accompanying music videos.

Over the years, Aminux has gained prominence with tracks such as “Machi B7alhom,” “Hobek,” “Samhili,” “Ana Wiak,” “Wayema,” and “Makayen Ma.”

With this project, Aminux continues to explore new artistic directions, presenting a conceptual album that reflects both the complexity and contrast of human emotions.
