Fez — Morocco will have its own FIFA-licensed watch collection for the 2026 World Cup, with U.S. watchmaker AXIA Time unveiling limited-edition designs carrying the country’s colors.
The collection is part of AXIA Time’s “FIFA World Cup 2026” official licensed watch line. The brand’s Morocco page describes the national edition as “Swiss Made Commemorative Timepieces,” while the wider FIFA collection is presented as an official licensed product of the tournament.
The move places Morocco among 14 country-specific designs selected for the collection. AXIA Time said the lineup includes seven former World Cup winners, the three 2026 host nations, and four globally significant football countries: Japan, Morocco, Portugal, and the Netherlands.
Three Morocco models
The Morocco collection follows AXIA Time’s three-model structure: “KOSMOS,” “ENOSI,” and “ARGOS.” The “KOSMOS” model is the entry-level piece, listed at $225, with a Miyota quartz movement, bioceramic case, and FKM rubber strap. It is limited to 400 individually numbered watches, with 20 allocated to collector box sets.
The “ENOSI” model is listed at $795 and limited to 80 numbered watches, including 20 allocated to collector box sets. It features a Sellita SW200 automatic movement and an Italian Saffiano leather strap, according to AXIA Time’s product details.
The top model, “ARGOS,” is listed at $1,495 and also limited to 80 numbered watches, with 20 reserved for collector box sets. The watch includes an ETA 2824 automatic movement, a 42mm stainless steel case, a sapphire crystal caseback, and a color-matched FKM rubber strap.
AXIA Time will also offer 20 collector box sets for each country, bringing together the three watches for that national design. The brand said each box set will be hand-painted by Paraguayan sports artist Lili Cantero, whose work focuses on football gear and accessories.
Morocco’s football rise in collectible form
Morocco’s inclusion reflects the Atlas Lions’ growing place in global football. FIFA lists Morocco among the qualified teams for the 2026 World Cup, where the national team will compete in Group C against Brazil, Haiti, and Scotland.
The 2026 tournament will take place from June 11 to July 19 across the United States, Mexico, and Canada, marking the first World Cup with 48 teams.
Morocco’s football profile has changed sharply since the Atlas Lions reached the semi-finals at Qatar 2022, becoming the first African and Arab team to do so. The country is also set to co-host the 2030 World Cup with Spain and Portugal, after FIFA appointed the three countries as hosts in December 2024.
AXIA Time said country-specific designs will be released in staggered drops beginning this month, with fans able to register for early access before each release. The Morocco watch is released on May 18.
