Casablanca – Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli is set to perform during Abu Dhabi Grand Prix week as part of the inaugural edition of Yasalam Classics on December 2, taking place at Etihad Arena on Yas Island.

Produced by Ethara in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism and Miral, Yasalam Classics expands the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix entertainment program, complementing its after-race concerts and official after-parties.

For Bocelli, the concert forms part of his ongoing Romanza World Tour, which marks three decades since the release of his landmark album “Romanza,” the record that inspired the tour’s name and helped introduce his voice to audiences around the world.

The December performance follows a series of tour dates across Europe and North America, with stops including Italy, Poland, Austria, and the US.

Bocelli will be joined in Abu Dhabi’s wider entertainment lineup by several international artists, including Zara Larsson, Lewis Capaldi, and Imagine Dragons.

An evening shaped by timeless melodies

Over the years, Bocelli has built a career that transcends borders, captivating audiences across generations and musical backgrounds. His distinctive voice and emotionally resonant performances have made him one of the most recognizable figures in classical crossover music.

Classics such as “Time to Say Goodbye,” “Il Mare Calmo Della Sera,” and “The Prayer” remain among the songs most closely associated with his career, continuing to attract listeners decades after their release.

And more recently, he appeared at the opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup 2026 in Mexico City, performing “DNA” alongside David Guetta and EJAE.

For fans attending the Grand Prix festivities, the concert offers a different musical atmosphere from the high-energy race-week celebrations. Instead, it promises an evening shaped by timeless melodies, orchestral arrangements, and one of the most recognizable voices in contemporary music.

As Abu Dhabi prepares for another packed Grand Prix week, Bocelli’s appearance adds a touch of classical elegance to a program that continues to blend sport, entertainment, and culture on a global stage.
