Casablanca – As Mawazine enters another evening of performances, its stages continue to showcase the diversity that has defined the festival for more than two decades.

Spread across Rabat and Sale, today’s lineup brings together artists whose careers span generations, genres, and continents, offering audiences a wide range of musical experiences throughout the night.

Eneida Marta

The day begins at 5:30 p.m. at Chellah, where Guinea-Bissau’s Eneida Marta will bring her distinctive musical universe to one of Mawazine’s most intimate venues.

Known as one of the leading voices of Lusophone Africa, Marta draws heavily from gumbe traditions while weaving together themes of identity, memory, hope, and social engagement. Her performance promises a musical encounter shaped by both cultural heritage and contemporary concerns.

Lotfi Bouchnak

The focus then shifts to the Mohammed V National Theatre, where Tunisian artist Lotfi Bouchnak will take the stage at 9:00 p.m.

Widely regarded as one of the most respected voices in Arab music, Bouchnak has spent decades preserving and reinventing the region’s musical heritage. Combining exceptional vocal mastery with a deep understanding of traditional maqamat, he remains a leading figure of “tarab” and Tunisian music on the international stage.

Tiësto

At 10:30 p.m., OLM Souissi will welcome one of the most influential names in electronic music.

Dutch DJ and producer Tiësto has helped shape the global dance music landscape for decades, evolving from club culture pioneer to one of the most recognizable figures in contemporary electronic music. 

With a catalogue that spans generations of dance music fans, his performance is expected to transform OLM Souissi into a massive open-air celebration.

Sampa The Great

At the same time, the Bouregreg stage will host Zambian rapper, poet, and songwriter Sampa The Great.

Celebrated for her thoughtful lyricism and artistic originality, Sampa has established herself as one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary hip-hop. 

Drawing inspiration from African identities, poetry, soul, and hip-hop traditions, her work continues to push creative boundaries while earning international recognition.

Abdelaziz Stati

The Sale stage will once again celebrate Moroccan popular music through two figures closely associated with the chaabi tradition.

Abdelaziz Stati remains one of the most recognizable names in Moroccan chaabi, known for a repertoire that has accompanied celebrations, festivals, and family gatherings for decades. 

His festive style and strong connection with audiences continue to make him a favorite among fans of popular Moroccan music.

Hamid Serghini

Joining him on the same stage, Hamid Serghini will bring another expression of Morocco’s rich chaabi heritage.

Known for preserving the spirit of the genre while maintaining a strong live presence, Serghini’s music reflects the festive atmosphere and audience interaction that have long characterized Moroccan popular music.

Aminux

 At Nahda, Aminux will represent a generation of Moroccan artists who have successfully blended contemporary urban sounds with local musical influences.

The Tangier artist emerged as one of the leading figures of Moroccan pop and R&B, building a loyal audience through emotionally driven songs.

Karima Gouit

Sharing the stage with Aminux, Karima Gouit will bring a repertoire that moves between contemporary Moroccan pop and Amazigh-inspired sounds.

Through songs such as “Tamghra”, “Tassanou”, and “Ihwawin”, Gouit has explored different facets of Moroccan musical identity, combining modern production with influences drawn from the country’s Amazigh heritage.
