Rabat – As rumors have been circulating the internet surrounding football star Achraf Hakimi’s relationship, his wife Hiba Abouk spoke up about their alleged separation to Europa Press Agency.

Abouk was questioned in Madrid while walking to her car by the media outlet, who asked her “Is everything okay between you and Achraf Hakimi?”

The Spanish-Tunisian actress Abouk looked relaxed and happy as she replied to the journalist in Spanish: “Yes everything is fine, there is nothing wrong, all the claims are false.”

The pair have been in the spotlight as rumors started following Hakimi’s recent trip to New York, where he has been spotted multiple times with fellow teammate and friend Kylian Mbappe.

The Moroccan football star has also been seen spending time with famous rapper French Montana.

However, the footballer’s decision to travel without his wife and children did not go unnoticed by the public and his fans as they began to speculate that he was experiencing some marital issues.

In addition, there is a noticeable lack of recent photos on Abouk’s Instagram feed of her with her husband. This fueled the gossip even more, leading some to reach conclusions as to why Hakimi and Abouk have of late not been spending as much time together.

Just two days ago, Spanish news outlet 5 TeleCinco released an article noting how Abouk had posted a video of her best moments from 2022, without a single picture or mention of her husband.

The couple recently went on a vacation to Marrakech with their two children. And Abouk, who is an avid social media user, posted multiple pictures from their time away, with the caption: “Marrakech we love you.”
