Rabat – Louis Vuitton is giving new life to the classic car rally this September from 1-4 in Italy, it’s now called the “Louis Vuitton Dolomites Classic Run 2026” marking the first edition since the “Serenissima Run” in 2012.

The Classic Run started in 1993 taking place in several host cities including France, Italy, and Central Europe before coming within a close in 2012 with a run from Monaco through the Swiss Alps to Venice.

The upcoming tour will be setting the stage for the Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix given that “LVMH” the parent company of Louis Vuitton recently signed a 10-year sponsorship deal with F1.

The drive will begin at Villa Pisani, near Venice, before concluding in Monza after a two-day journey with racers driving approximately 373 miles (600 Kilometers) keeping an average speed of 31 mph regarding passage checks, time controls, and average speed trials.

The lineup is expected to feature iconic models from Bugatti, Maserati, and Ferrari all built before 1970 giving the public an opportunity to honor the art of travel in collaboration with the Luxury House LV.

The rally also supports Italian cultural heritage through partnerships with institutions such as the Royal Villa of Monza, the Castello Sforzesco, and Venice´s civic museums.

The winning team will receive a trophy created by Dutch artist Sabine Marcelis, produced by Murano glassmaker Venini and presented in a bespoke Louis Vuitton trophy trunk.

Louis Vuitton is bringing for sure back the Classic Car Rally not only to honor the automotive world but also to mark the beginning of a new era for a car run that has long occupied a unique place in the Mansion´s heritage.
