This feature is the oracle that reveals what you’ve been really vibing to – your annual personality test with way more beats and way less judgment.

Marrakech – As 2024 winds down, music lovers everywhere are buzzing over the arrival of “Spotify Wrapped”, that magical time of year when the streaming app serves up a neat little package of your listening habits.

It’s that viral tradition that sweeps through social media every December, turning our data into vibrant, shareable snapshots of our musical selves.

It’s here again, but how do you unlock your Wrapped this year? Here’s everything you need to know about this much-anticipated drop.

What exactly is Spotify Wrapped?

Spotify Wrapped is the yearly tradition we all look forward to – your personal musical yearbook, showing off the songs, artists, and podcasts that defined your 365 days.

It dives deep into your listening life, breaking down your favorite genres and revealing how many minutes you’ve spent curating your soundtrack over the last 12 months.

This year, it’s even more fun. Think personalized music video playlists, a DJ powered by AI (yes, it’s like your own private radio station), and sharing features that make posting your results to TikTok even easier.

How to view your Spotify Wrapped

The wait is over: Spotify Wrapped 2024 is here and ready to view on the mobile app, following its release on Wednesday, December 4.

Best part? It’s free for all users, whether or not you have Spotify Premium.

Which artists are dominating Spotify’s most-played list?

Taylor Swift has officially claimed her crown as Spotify’s most-streamed artist of 2024 in the UK, and let’s be real, it’s no surprise.

After conquering the world with her Eras Tour, the pop sensation beat out heavyweights like Drake, Kanye West, Billie Eilish, and The Weeknd for the top spot – making it two years in a row.

Not only that, but she also bagged the most-streamed album with “The Tortured Poets Department”.

And if you’re wondering, yes, Spotify went all out with a special badge and mini-animations celebrating the different eras of her music. It’s like a personalized gift, from one of her biggest fans (Spotify) to her.

But Swift wasn’t the only artist breaking records. Noah Kahan’s “Stick Season” took the crown for the UK’s most-played song, with Sabrina Carpenter’s feel-good summer anthem “Espresso” and Benson Boone’s “Beautiful Things” close behind.

These tracks were the soundtrack of our year, each one playing on repeat in our heads at least once a day.

As for podcasts, “The Joe Rogan Experience” was the top pick for Brits, with Steven Bartlett’s “The Diary of a CEO” coming in second and Gary Lineker’s “The Rest Is Football” taking third.

And for those who like to unwind with a good book, J.R.R. Tolkien’s “The Fellowship of the Ring” reigned as the most popular audiobook.
