Rabat – Forbes Travel Guide, a global authority on luxury hospitality, has published its Star Awards for 2024, with the Royal Mansour hotel in Marrakech earning a five-star status for yet another year.

In addition, the Royal Mansour’s Spa maintained its four-star rating, said the hotel in a press release.

The Forbes Travel Guide Star Awards, now in its 66th year, recognize destinations that offer high-quality guest experiences and personalized service.

Amanda Frasier, president of ratings for Forbes Travel Guide, emphasized the significance of these awards at a time when meaningful in-person experiences are increasingly valued.

“The hotels, ocean cruises, restaurants, and spas on our Star Rating list demonstrate an impressive commitment to creating memorable environments that nurture connection, joy, and a sense of place as we experience the world to its fullest,” she said.

The statement added that the Royal Mansour, located in the heart of the red city, “has never stopped reinventing itself, in a constant quest for excellence.”

In 2023, the Royal Mansour introduced La Grande Brasserie, a Parisian-style restaurant led by French Chef Hélène Darroze. The hotel said that the collaboration with Darroze further cements its reputation as a culinary destination of choice.

Building on this success, the spring of 2024 will see Darroze taking over another Royal Mansour restaurant, La Grande Table Marocaine.

The hotel celebrated the four-star rating the Spa Royal Mansour received, saying its spa offers a comprehensive approach to mental and physical well-being.

In addition, it highlighted the spa’s multi-day programs, “industry-led retreats and an impressive Spa menu featuring a range of innovative and renowned spa brands.”
