Somewhere between tradition and modernity, a new chapter of Moroccan-inspired elegance is quietly unfolding.
Marrakech – Cygnett Hotels & Resorts has announced the launch of its five-star luxury brand, Anamore, signaling a shift into premium hospitality.
Known for its midscale and budget properties, Cygnett is stepping into the high-end market with a focus on elegance, sustainability, and cultural influences.
The first Anamore Resort & Wellness will open in Pushkar by late 2025.
Spanning 20 acres, it will feature 250 rooms, sprawling banquet spaces, lush green lawns, and an array of dining options.
What makes this property stand out, however, is its Moroccan-inspired architecture – a nod to the intricate craftsmanship and design traditions that Morocco is known for.
Moroccan architecture is an art form in itself. It’s defined by geometric patterns, arched doorways, colorful zellige tilework, and courtyards that create a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor spaces.
These elements will be thoughtfully integrated into Anamore’s design, offering guests a setting that balances tradition with modern comfort.
It’s a style that feels both luxurious and welcoming, with a focus on natural light, airy layouts, and textures that invite you to look a little closer.
Cygnett plans to bring this distinctive style across other Anamore properties, including the Srinagar location in Uttarakhand, opening in late 2025.

This resort will feature 80 yacht-inspired villas with private pools and gardens overlooking the Alaknanda River.
Though Moroccan touches are less pronounced here, the emphasis on thoughtful, culturally grounded design remains.
The Karjat property, set to open in 2026, will include 100 rooms, ultra-luxury villas, and water channels reminiscent of Venetian canals.
Meanwhile, Anamore Murud will overlook the historic Janjira Fort, incorporating Arabian architectural elements with ocean-view wellness spaces.
Sarbendra Sarkar, Founder and Managing Director of Cygnett Hotels & Resorts, explained that Anamore represents a new direction for the brand.
The incorporation of Moroccan design into the Pushkar property is particularly noteworthy.
It’s a style that evokes a sense of place and history while remaining relevant to contemporary aesthetics.
For travelers, it’s an invitation to experience a slice of Morocco without leaving India – something that’s as much about atmosphere as it is about architecture.
As Cygnett builds its Anamore portfolio, it’s clear that the brand is prioritizing more than just luxury accommodations.
It’s about crafting spaces that feel unique, thoughtful, and rooted in the cultures that inspire them.
