Marrakech – The 31st Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards, held yesterday, was nothing short of spectacular — a true celebration of the best in film and television.
The room was filled with actors, directors, and industry legends, all gathered to honor the incredible talent that keeps us glued to our screens.
Hosted by the charismatic Kristen Bell, the evening had a perfect balance of humor, elegance, and heartfelt moments.
Bell, with her infectious energy, made sure the night was as fun as it was glamorous, keeping the audience laughing and engaged throughout the evening.
Kicking things off with a bang, the award for the “Ensemble in a Film” category was awarded to “Conclave,” a gripping drama about power, politics, and the people behind the scenes.
Demi Moore, already a legend in Hollywood, was awarded best Female Actor in a Leading Role for her stunning performance in “The Substance.”
Moore’s portrayal in this deeply emotional film reminded everyone why she’s been captivating audiences for decades.
On the men’s side, Timothée Chalamet took home the award for top Male Actor in Leading Role for his role in “A Complete Unknown.”
Next came the supporting roles — always some of the most competitive categories of the night.
Zoe Saldaña, with her powerhouse performance in Emilia Pérez, claimed the award for best Female Actor in a Supporting Role, proving once again why she is one of the most respected actresses in Hollywood.
In the Male Actor in a Supporting Role category, Kieran Culkin took home the prize for his brilliant, unforgettable performance in “A Real Pain.”
And let’s not forget the Stunt Ensemble awards, which went to “The Fall Guy” (film) and “Shōgun” (television).
Switching gears to television, the night was filled with recognition for the powerful drama “Shōgun,” which swept up some major wins.
Anna Sawai and Hiroyuki Sanada were awarded best Female Actor in a Drama Series and Male Actor in the Drama Series, respectively.
Comedy fans were equally treated to star-studded wins, starting with Jean Smart, who claimed the award for best Female Actor in a Comedy Series for her iconic role in “Hacks.”
Alongside her, Martin Short won Male Actor in a Comedy Series for his role in “Only Murders in the Building.”
The limited series and TV movie categories were just as exciting, with Jessica Gunning winning Female Actor for “Baby Reindeer.”
On the men’s side, Colin Farrell took home the award for best Male Actor for his performance in “The Penguin.”
From the red carpet to the final award, the SAG Awards celebrated the incredible talent that continues to shape the entertainment industry.
