Casablanca – Moroccan singer Taha Nouri is heading to Rabat for a live concert at Salle Ba Hnini on May 2 at 8:30 p.m.

The concert will feature a mix of his well-known songs along with exclusive performances from his upcoming album, giving fans an early preview of what is to come.

Known for blending traditional Moroccan sounds with a contemporary touch, often influenced by Andalusi and Gharnati musical traditions, Nouri has built a strong connection with audiences over the years through tracks such as “Caftan,” “Belhda,” and “Mesrara.”

His repertoire has helped shape a recognizable artistic identity that continues to attract a growing fan base.

Beyond his solo work, he has also contributed to television soundtracks, including “Rabi 3tini Jna7” from the series “Dar Nsa” and “L3adaw” from “3ech Tma3,” both of which are Ramadan productions.

As anticipation builds for his upcoming album, Nouri is preparing to release a new album titled “L’madfoun” on May 8. He has already begun teasing the project with the release of its opening track, “Nini Ya Mamou,” written and composed by the artist himself.

The song draws on elements of Moroccan cultural memory, including lullaby-inspired expressions traditionally sung by mothers, adding a nostalgic layer to the release. The accompanying video clip also features Moroccan actress Nora Skali in a maternal role, adding emotional depth to the visual narrative.

With this upcoming concert, audiences in Rabat will get a first glimpse of the new project before its official release, in a live setting that blends nostalgia, storytelling, and musical evolution.
