Rabat – Tunisian singer Saber Rebai returned on Friday with a new release titled “Sous Le Jasmin,” this time weaving together Tunisian dialect and French in a single musical flow.

The song carries a soft summer atmosphere, with a music video created using artificial intelligence that brings Tunisia’s Sidi Bou Said to life, highlighting its mesmerizing blue-and-white charm and serene seaside views.

It was composed by Rebai himself; he also wrote the Arabic lyrics, while “French Thoughts” contributed to the French part of the song.

The shift between French and Tunisian dialect feels seamless, almost like two worlds gently dissolving into one shared soundscape.

But this is not the first time Rebai has explored French in his music. After originally releasing “Bathada Al Aalam” in Arabic in 2012, he later revisited it in 2016 with a bilingual Arabic-French version.

With “Sous Le Jasmin,” he returns once again to that linguistic blend, and the reception suggests it resonates strongly with listeners, who applauded its warm, summer-like energy and its vivid celebration of Tunisian identity.

Comment sections reflected appreciation for the track’s atmosphere, its visual storytelling, and the way it captures the essence of Tunisia in both sound and image.

With this release, Rebai continues to deepen his long-standing connection with audiences in Tunisia and across the Arab world, adding to a repertoire of classics such as “Sidi Mansour,” “E’z El Habayeb,” and “Barsha,” which remain deeply rooted in his legacy.
