Casablanca – Morocco is strengthening its position on the global creative map with the launch of “Morocco Design,” a new platform dedicated to showcasing the country’s contemporary design scene.
The platform’s inaugural edition will take place in Casablanca from October 5-7, offering a space to explore innovative projects, celebrate local talent, and connect Moroccan design with international audiences.
Curated by Hanane El Moutii, the initiative is designed as a meeting point where Moroccan creativity intertwine with global design.
Bringing together international design houses, Moroccan designers, architects, artisans, and cultural partners, the platform aims to create a shared space for ideas, craftsmanship, and innovation.
Rather than unfolding in a single venue, the event will spread across a carefully curated selection of Casablanca’s leading design destinations, transforming the city itself into an open showcase of creativity.
A new lens on Casablanca
Over three days, visitors will be invited to explore Casablanca through exhibitions, installations, conversations, and immersive experiences that highlight the dialogue between architecture, design, craftsmanship, and culture.
The platform also reflects Morocco’s growing presence within the international design landscape, placing local talent alongside global names while celebrating the country’s rich creative heritage through a contemporary perspective.
As Casablanca prepares to welcome its first edition, Morocco Design signals the beginning of what could become a new annual meeting point for the country’s creative community, where local talent and international voices come together around one shared language: design.
The full program, along with the list of participating venues and collaborators, is still under wraps, with more details to be revealed in the coming weeks.
