Rabat – Gracie Abrams has released her third studio album, Daughter From Hell, out July 17. The rollout began with lead single “Hit the Wall,” a synth-pop track released May 14 that served as fans’ first taste of the album’s sound and tone.
Abrams has described the song as the introduction to this new personal chapter of her career.
The songwriting sessions with Dessner reportedly happened in short bursts, squeezed between stops on Abrams’ previous tour.
What’s on the Album
The album 16 songs, including “Hit the Wall,” “Death Wish,” “The Knife,” the title track, “Look at My Life,” “Good Reason,” “Men Like You,” “Sober,” and “Broke My Heart.”
Some of these songs, including “Death Wish” and “Cold Goodbyes,” were previewed live during the artist’s 2025 tour before officially landing on the tracklist.
The song “Humming” includes Gracie’s Gracie’s favorite lyrics.

At an intimate release show at Bowery Ballroom, Abrams shared that the album grew out of a quieter period in her life after she and those around her went their separate ways once touring wrapped, suggesting a more introspective, unguarded record than her previous work.
‘The Look at My Life’ tour
To support the album, Abrams announced her fifth headlining tour, “The Look at My Life”,, which will kick off on December 2 in Denver until May 28 in Barcelona, spanning 64 shows across North America and Europe.
The tour will feature a rotating lineup of supporting acts, including Rachel Chinouriri, Holly Humberstone, Samia, The Japanese House, and Del Water Gap.
Building on Momentum
“Daughter From Hell” arrives on the heels of real momentum for Abrams, as her previous album “The Secret of Us” topped the charts in the UK and beyond, and her profile has only grown since.
