Rabat – Justin Bieber has brought renewed attention to the legacy of late musician Alex Alexandros Apostolopoulos, the son of Lebanese singer Nora Rahal, by featuring one of his original compositions in the promotional campaign for the latest sunglasses from Bieber’s brand, SKYLRK.
The singer shared a video on Instagram showcasing the new SKYLRK Speed Demon sunglasses, which feature interchangeable lenses.
Bieber appears wearing the eyewear while the soundtrack is an original piece composed by Alex, introducing his music to a global audience in a tribute that resonated with fans.
Nora Rahal expressed her gratitude for the gesture by reposting the video on Instagram.
“Your spirit lives on through your music, and today the whole world is hearing it,” she wrote. “I’m so proud of you, Alex, my son ‘Apost.’ Thank you, Justin Bieber, for this recognition.”
Rahal announced her son’s death on June 29, 2026. Alex Apostolopoulos was 24 years old when he died in a tragic accident.
In an emotional social media post at the time, she bid farewell to her son with a message of faith, writing that she entrusted him “into the hands of the Lord” and prayed for his eternal rest.
