Rabat – Marvel Studios has officially announced that “Black Panther 3” will be released in theaters on December 15, 2028, marking the return of Wakanda for a new chapter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
The third installment will introduce a new actor as Prince T’Challa II, the son of King T’Challa, originally portrayed by the late Chadwick Boseman.
The young prince was first introduced as a child during the post-credits scene of “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” (2022), setting the stage for the next generation of Wakanda’s royal family.
Behind the camera, Ryan Coogler is returning to direct the film after helming both “Black Panther” and “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.”
His return signals the continuation of the story and the expansion of Wakanda’s place within the MCU.
The cast will also see the return of Letitia Wright as Shuri, who assumed the mantle of Black Panther in the previous film, alongside Winston Duke, reprising his role as M’Baku, one of Wakanda’s most prominent leaders.
The announcement has fueled anticipation among Marvel fans eager to see the future of Wakanda unfold.
With the Black Panther legacy passing to a new generation, the upcoming film is expected to explore a fresh chapter while preserving the characters and world that have captivated audiences since the franchise debuted in 2018.
