Rabat – From March 27 to May 10, under the starlit sky of the “White City,” the historic Vélodrome d’Anfa is set to host the inaugural Magic Garden Light Festival, spearheaded by the “Go Vélodrome” initiative.

Visitors can expect a promenade where reality fades into dreamlike wonder, drawing inspiration from the poetic landscapes of the Jardin d’Été at Paris’s Palais de Tokyo, the luminous magic of Dubai Garden Glow, and the immersive atmospheres of Aura Skypool Experience and Parc Floral de Paris.

As a premier urban cultural attraction, the Magic Garden Light Festival has been meticulously curated to enhance spring evenings.

Timed to coincide with school holidays and the season’s leisure rhythm, the festival promises a multi-generational experience for families and art enthusiasts alike, uniting audiences around shared wonder and imagination.

The event embodies “Go Vélodrome’s” vision: a contemporary cultural activation of the Vélodrome d’Anfa that breathes new life into a historic landmark.

It is a living work of urban rehabilitation, transforming the site into a vibrant creative hub that complements Casablanca’s broader cultural development.

The 60–90 minute immersive journey unfolds across six thematic pillars: immersive art, cutting-edge light technology, visual poetry, natural enchantment, intergenerational family experiences, and artistic reclamation of urban space.

Access is designed to be inclusive, with a pricing strategy that removes barriers and invites as many visitors as possible to experience world-class artistry in Casablanca.

Looking ahead, the Magic Garden Light Festival is set to become a recurring cultural highlight, serving as a catalyst for social connection.

Beyond the immediate experience, the festival aims to gain national and regional prominence, establishing the Vélodrome as a year-round venue capable of reinventing itself for seasonal events such as Ramadan, spring festivities, and year-end celebrations through innovative artistic formats.

Launched in Casablanca, the “Go Vélodrome” initiative seeks to rehabilitate the Vélodrome d’Anfa, a site recognized as national heritage since 2013, into a multifunctional urban park.

The project combines heritage preservation with urban reinvention, creating an open space dedicated to sports, culture, leisure, and nature for the benefit of Casablanca’s community.
