Lugano – Kehlani has officially announced their fifth studio album, “Kehlani,” set for release on April 24.

Kehlani first hinted that new music was underway in October during a heartfelt interview alongside her daughter, Adeya Nomi Parrish Young-White.

The upcoming project follows Kehlani’s previous album “Crash” and arrives at a pivotal moment in the artist’s career, as anticipation builds around what is being described as one of their most personal records to date.

The album explores themes of love, and emotional growth, reflecting a more introspective and refined artistic direction while continuing to expand Kehlani’s genre-blending sound.

The album will include 17 tracks, blending a dynamic mix of longtime collaborators and exciting new creative voices. Iconic artists Usher  and Brandy are among those set to feature.

Notably, the April 24 release coincides with the artist’s birthday, adding a personal layer to the launch.

The rollout has been supported by previously released singles including “Folded” and “Out the Window,” offering listeners an early glimpse into the album’s tone and direction.

The announcement comes on the heels of a milestone year for Kehlani. Earlier in the year the artist won two awards at the 68th Grammy Awards in February, taking home honors for “Best R&B Performance” and “Best R&B Song” for the track “Folded.”

Further recognition is set to follow, as Kehlani will receive “the Impact Award” at Billboard Women in Music 2026 on April 29, highlighting the artist’s influence both within and beyond the music industry.

Kehlani, will be honored alongside a diverse lineup of influential female artists across the industry at the event.

This year’s Women of the Year title goes to the trio EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami, while other honorees include Teyana Taylor (Visionary Award), Tate McRae (Hitmaker Award), Laufey (Innovator Award), Mariah the Scientist (Rising Star), Zara Larsson (Breakthrough Award), Thalía (Icon Award), and Ella Langley (Powerhouse Award), highlighting the wide-ranging impact of women shaping today’s global music landscape.
