Rabat – For the first time in 5 years, Kanye West, also known as Ye, performed on Wednesday night at Sofi stadium in front of thousands of fans who were eager to see him shine again.
The rapper was wearing a black mask and standing on the top of an orb-like stage, playing several songs from his 13 solo albums.
Ye paused the concert many times, complaining about the production and throwing a tantrum about the lights while performing his song “Good Life.”
The artist is known for his controversial statements, yet apologized in January for making antisemitic comments, calling himself a Nazi on X and praising Adolf Hitler.
Claiming that his statements were linked to the undiagnosed brain injury after his car accident in 2002, his apology created the first steps to rebuild his reputation among his fans.
His tickets were in high demand despite the controversy and the cancellations he got, as the lowest seats started at $125 (MAD 1173), and the floor seats went for about $595 (MAD 5590).
His concert coincides with the release of his first solo album “Bully,” first one in a while since 2022.
Ye is expected to hit the top records, showing his strong presence in the music industry.
After the show ended, it was clear that Ye still has a strong hold on his fans and the music scene.
Despite everything he’s been through recently, his return to the stage shows he’s still a major force.
The energy on the stage was electric, and his new album is already making waves.
It’s obvious that Kanye’s influence isn’t going anywhere anytime soon, and his performance proved he’s still got what it takes to make headlines and stay relevant.
