Rabat – Sometimes the best journeys are the ones that take you away from the noise. In northern and eastern Morocco, you don’t just visit places, you slow down, breathe, and experience life differently.

Day 1 – Tangier

You start in Tangier, a city that never feels like just one place. It’s Africa, Europe, and something in between.

Walk along the marina in the morning when everything is calm, then slowly make your way into the medina.

There’s no need to rush here. Just walk, stop for coffee, watch people.

Tangier is more about the atmosphere than the checklist. By the evening, sit somewhere by the sea and let the day settle.

Day 2 – Chefchaouen

The road to Chefchaouen feels like you’re leaving everything behind. Once you arrive, the blue streets almost force you to slow down.

You don’t really “visit” Chefchaouen,  you wander it. Every corner looks like something you’ve never seen before, but at the same time, it feels peaceful and familiar.

Sit in a small café, talk to locals, or just walk with no destination. That’s enough.

Day 3 – Al Hoceima to Saidia

This day feels like a transition. From the mountains, you move toward the sea.

Al Hoceima is quiet and raw. It’s not overly polished, and that’s what makes it special. The cliffs, the sea, the simplicity, it all feels real.

Then you continue to Saidia. The mood shifts. It’s lighter, more open. Long beaches, soft sand, and that feeling of finally being able to just breathe and rest.

Day 4 – Ras El Ma & Berkane

Ras El Ma feels personal. It’s not a place people talk about much, but once you’re there, you understand why it matters. The sea is calm, the pace is slow, and everything feels close to nature.

Then Berkane,  a place that feels grounded. You notice it in the markets, in the people, in the way life revolves around the land. It’s simple, but it stays with you.

Day 5 & 6 – Nature and Quiet Moments

These days are less about destinations and more about experience.

You might find yourself walking through forests, hiking in the mountains, or discovering small villages like Arekman, Sidi Lbachir or Sidi Brahim in the Rif,  where nothing feels rushed. The air is different here. Cleaner, calmer.

Sometimes the best moments are the unplanned ones,  stopping somewhere random, sitting, and just taking it all in.

Day 7 – The Last Day

The last day always feels different. You’re no longer discovering,  you’re reflecting.

Maybe you sit by the sea again, or maybe you return to the mountains. Either way, everything feels slower, like you’re trying to hold onto the feeling a little longer.
