Rabat – Princess Fahda bint Falah Al Hithlain, wife of Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz and mother of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, has chosen Morocco to spend her personal vacation.
The princess arrived at the Ibn Battuta International Airport in Tangier in the early hours of Tuesday, accompanied by officials from the Saudi palace, private guards, and royal court members, Moroccan outlet Le360 reported.
The Saudi princess is spending her vacation at her Al Sulaymaniyah palace, located in the coastal area of Jbila west of Tangier, said the outlet, noting that the palace was recently renovated.
In addition, several other princesses from various countries, including the UAE and Kuwait, as well as friends of Princess Fahda have also arrived in Tangier. They have reportedly been joining the Saudi princess at her residence since Wednesday morning.
The Saudi King’s wife is expected to spend the entire week in Tangier, heading to the Moroccan red city of Marrakech next, before departing next week.
During their stay in the country, Princess Fahda and the accompanying delegation are bound to enjoy the vibrant and diverse cities of Tangier and Marrakech, both of which have been favorite destinations for public figures from across the world.
Earlier this week, Spain’s Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez was spotted in Marrakech enjoying a few days of his vacation alongside his family.
In addition, many celebrities seeking luxury head to Morocco to enjoy its diverse landscapes, warm hospitality, and unique cultural experiences.
American talk show host Oprah Winfrey made a two-day visit to Marrakech last month, immersing herself in the country’s rich cultural heritage.
“I spent two beautiful days in Marrakech, Morocco, which wasn’t enough time to experience so much magnificent culture,” she said.
