Lugano – Applications are now open for the Falling Walls Lab Rabat 2026, offering students, researchers, and early-career professionals the opportunity to present innovative ideas on an international stage.
The Rabat edition will take place on June 10, at Mohammed V University, bringing together emerging talent from across Morocco and beyond.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old to participate. They must also either be enrolled at a university, or have obtained a bachelor’s degree within the last 10 years.
Alternatively, they can also participate if they have obtained a master’s degree in the past 7 years or a PHD in the past 5 years.
Applications must be made in English and can be submitted until May 20.
Selected candidates will deliver a 3-minute pitch of their ideas in front of a jury of experts, with evaluation criteria including originality, feasibility, and potential impact.
The competition is designed to foster innovation across disciplines, encouraging participants to propose solutions in areas such as science, technology, entrepreneurship, and social impact.
The Rabat Lab is part of a wider international series held throughout the year, with winners advancing to the global finale in Berlin at the Falling Walls Science Summit.
Participants benefit from exposure to an international network and the opportunity to showcase ideas that address both local and global challenges.
