Rabat – Global music producer and Moroccan-born hitmaker RedOne has unveiled a new high-energy anthem titled “Stay Up High Morocco,” created to support and celebrate Morocco’s national football team ahead of the upcoming FIFA World Cup hosted across the United States, Canada, and Mexico starting June 11.
Released on Monday, the track marks another major crossover moment between music and football for the internationally acclaimed producer, whose real name is Nadir Khayat.
Originally from Tetouan in northern Morocco, RedOne both produced and composed the song in collaboration with renowned African music group Toofan.
Blending Moroccan musical identity with contemporary Afro-global rhythms, “Stay Up High Morocco” delivers an uplifting stadium-ready sound designed to energize fans and players alike as the Atlas Lions prepare for one of the most anticipated tournaments in the nation’s football history.
The release strategically coincides with Morocco’s penultimate pre-World Cup friendly against Madagascar, part of the team’s final preparations before traveling to North America for the group stages of the competition.
Known for crafting official FIFA and international sporting anthems, RedOne once again leans into his signature formula: emotionally charged production, global pop sensibility, and cultural storytelling rooted in Moroccan heritage.
The track aims to amplify the atmosphere surrounding the national team while reinforcing Morocco’s growing influence on the global sporting and cultural stage.
The release also builds on the global visibility Morocco earned following its historic run at the Qatar World Cup, where the Atlas Lions became the first African and Arab nation to reach the semi-finals.
