Rabat – Congolese singer GIMS is heading to Morocco on November 7 as part of his “Carpe Diem Tour,” with a concert scheduled at Complexe Mohammed V in Casablanca.
After touring across Europe, one of the biggest names on the francophone music scene will bring both his long-established repertoire and his latest hits to the White City.
The Casablanca audience will get a taste of both the songs that cemented GIMS’ place on the francophone music scene, such as “Bella,” “J’me tire,” “Sapés comme jamais,” and “Est-ce que tu m’aimes ?,” as well as newer hits like “Spider,” “Sois pas timide,” and “Ninao.”
Before arriving in Morocco, GIMS still has two summer stops scheduled in Marseille on June 19 and Nice on July 3.
The tour then resumes in the fall with performances in Nantes in October and Lyon in November before making its way to Casablanca.
Following the tremendous success of his previous “Last Winter Tour,” the “Carpe Diem Tour” is also drawing strong enthusiasm from fans, with thousands attending his performances across different cities.
But Morocco is not unfamiliar territory for GIMS. Over the years, the artist has built a strong connection with Moroccan audiences through multiple performances in the country, including a stop in Rabat as part of his “Le Dernier Tour” in April 2025.
He also appeared at the renowned Mawazine festival in Rabat in 2013 and 2016, as well as at “Le Before” in 2018, further cementing his popularity among Moroccan fans.
For Casablanca audiences, the upcoming concert will be an opportunity to experience live one of the most recognizable voices in contemporary francophone music after months of performances across Europe.
