Rabat – Mimo Lazrak continues to strengthen his place on Morocco’s comedy scene after receiving his third standing ovation at the Comediablanca festival, a milestone that reflects his growing popularity and connection with audiences.

With three appearances at the Casablanca-based festival and three standing ovations to match, Lazrak has become one of the most celebrated names in Moroccan humor, earning recognition for a style that blends personal storytelling with sharp social commentary.

Born in Casablanca and living between the city and Paris, Lazrak has carved out a unique artistic path, stepping away from conventional comedy formats.

Drawing inspiration from his personal experiences and observations of modern life, the comedian has developed a voice that resonates across generations.

His performances often balance introspection and humor, tackling contemporary issues with honesty and wit.

That mix has helped him build a loyal audience both in Morocco and abroad, positioning him among the most promising emerging voices in the French-speaking comedy scene.

Lazrak is now set to return to Casablanca in October 2026 for what is already shaping up to be one of the city’s most anticipated cultural events of the season.

Following his recent stage successes and growing international attention, his upcoming performance is expected to further solidify his rapid ascent.
