Rabat – Van Cleef & Arpels has unveiled Fascinating Egypt, its latest high jewelry collection inspired by the art, mythology, landscapes, and architecture of Ancient Egypt.

The collection draws on the civilization’s rich visual heritage, transforming its symbols and stories into intricate gemstone creations.

The new collection took four years to develop 180 one-of-a-kind creations, recognizing the timeless harmony between history and craftsmanship.

The luxurious jewelry pieces feature three main themes: “Nature along the Nile,” “Nature Egyptian civilization,” and “Modern fascinating with Egypt,” paying tribute to Egypt´s rich cultural heritage, landscapes and lasting artistic legacy.

Some of the collection’s inspirations came from the Lotus flower and palm trees transforming them into sculptural necklaces and bracelets as well as the pharaonic architecture, mythology and Royal symbols.

To bring the vibrant spirit of Ancient Egypt into a modern high jewelry vision, Van Cleef & Arpels crafted the collection using a rich palette of gemstones, including diamonds, emeralds, colored sapphires, turquoise, onyx, rubies, carnelian, and lapis lazuli.

The carefully selected stones reflect the bold hues and symbolic richness long associated with ancient Egyptian art and ornamentation.

This isn´t the first time the Van Cleef & Arpels has looked to Egypt, several Egyptian-inspired jewels especially during the 1920s and 1930s after the discovery of Tutankhamun´s tomb, notably Egyptian Revival Bracelet, scarab brooches Sphinx clips alongside other pieces.
