Rabat – Saint Levant has made history as Prada’s first ambassador from Palestine.
The Italian luxury house recently announced the 25-year-old musician as its newest ambassador, making him the first face from Palestine to officially represent the brand.
Shortly after the announcement, beauty entrepreneur Huda Kattan publicly showed her support by commenting “Yesss Prada” on his Instagram post, drawing widespread attention from fans online.
During the partnership announcement, Saint Levant appeared wearing a silver necklace shaped like the map of historic Palestine, sparking debate across social media platforms.
While some praised the accessory as a symbol of cultural identity, others viewed it as carrying political undertones. Prada has not issued an official statement regarding the discussion.
Despite the mixed reactions, Huda Kattan continued to back Saint Levant, a stance consistent with her previous public comments on humanitarian issues over the years.
For his part, Saint Levant expressed pride in representing Palestine, calling the opportunity “a great honor.”
He added, “I’m just a Palestinian human being making art,” explaining that his work is deeply inspired by the people, food, music, and culture he grew up with, remarks that quickly resonated across the internet.
